DIY: Succulent Planters
Hello and happy Sunday! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I am sharing today a projectthat is super easy and fun and only takes about 15 minutes; succulent planters! Depending on the size of container you choose, this project is relatively cheap too! Read on to find out how to make your own succulent planter for your home!
Materials:
Potting mix specifically for cactus, palm, and citrus (I used Miracle Grow)
A bag of sheet moss
Different types of succulents in various sizes
A cute container to put them in! (I used galvanized metal bowls)
Step 1: Add the potting soil and succulents to your container.
Step 2: Use the sheet moss to fill in bare spots and cover any visible dirt
And you're done! Simple as that. :)
And did I mention succulents are super easy to care for? You only need to water them once a week so they are perfect for people (like me) who have a hard time keeping houseplants alive. You can also use small rocks to cover the dirt and any bare spots as well. Happy planting!
