Cozy + Rustic Christmas Mantel

This year’s Christmas mantel features some old favorites and a couple of new items I added (like another stocking for our 4 month old daughter Ruby!) to give it a fresh feel for 2024. I am still loving this neutral color palette which gives a cozy and rustic vibe with muted tones against the white brick fireplace. This allows the design to blend seamlessly into winter decor once Christmas ends. All I have to do is remove the stockings, and it feels appropriate for all of January. The garland, pinecones, and birch logs add an organic element and the mix of textures like the metallic stars, wooden crate, and sherpa stockings create visual interest. The design blends simplicity with warmth giving off a welcoming and cozy aesthetic which is what the season is all about! You may have also noticed the small cricket on the hearth which is known to be a symbol of good luck, and protection for the home. Overall this is my favorite Christmas mantel I’ve done so far and I hope you love it too!
